Every open date
The set
Five plates from the fire, decided at the morning market and announced at the counter, nowhere else.
Est. in a print shop
Bread proved overnight, then a fire to come back to. Seven copper kettles, and lunch that runs long; one room above the print shop, eight chairs, one seating a night.
The room
The print shop runs downstairs until 18:00. Then the stairwell light comes on, the kettles go over the fire, and each of the eight chairs gets a name card. No tables: one oak counter, and the cook on the other side of it.

Chairs 7 and 8
Two chairs are never booked. Come up the stairs at 18:40, ask, and if they are free they are yours.
Bread, daily
Proved overnight, oven from 06:00 every morning. Loaves at 08:00 until they run out, and a Sunday lunch at 12:30 that ends when it ends.
A chair
Doors at 18:40, one seating, plates from 19:00, the room dark by 22:30. Twelve dates are open this season, and when a chair is taken the count at the top of this page drops.
Ask for a chairThis page is a demonstration, so the button stays put. Built for a real room it opens a plain email: no form, no deposit. A person reads it and replies, usually the same evening.
